Out-of-staters: Last night, Governor Rowland announced that he will be resigning. Is this known outside of Connecticut? Or is it just a local issue? I've been wondering that since his impeachment started a few months ago

Actually, the news was on the front page of todays' Washington Post. I've been following the story, since I used to live up there many moons ago.
