Yesterday was a MLK assembly. A few people from Mrs. Wilson's class gave speaches they wrote, including Alden. They were all really good. I don't remember what they did in past years, but I think this year's was better

hiya b- it's the ghost...again. i really had something important to say to you, something incisive, something witty, something frightfully fun. but i lost it. i think its somewhere with my crackpipe, but wouldn't you know? i lost that too. i better not find it in your cubby. because when i come to the school of bill tomorrow, i'm waitin' till the acting assembly...and then i'm gonna take a good long look for my crackpipe. and the witty thing i was going to say to you tonight. but if i find the crackpipe in your cubby, im not going to take it with me. i'll leave it right there, for everyone to see. especially that girl you have a mad crush on...what was her name? ah yes, it was
