i'm really sorry, basil, thats terrible. its is always distressing when you hear about friends or former friends dying. especially when they're someone the same age as you. it makes you all thinky. and i know how you hate that.
ps that is still the best lj icon ever. if they had oscars for lj icons, that one would sweep.
