Myspace stupidity #246: The "Extended Network" So you're on Myspace and someone adds you that you don't know, so you look at their profile and it says they are "in your extended network". Hm. I thought MySpace was just reallyreally stupid... but as it turns out, that whole extended network has some really stupid degree of validity. Basil is smart! Let it be known!

But I'm not friends with Tom (I cancelled our friendship!) and EVERYONE is still in my extended network. So I don't know what you'd like to make of that.

I have too! But I am sure that at least half of your friends never deleted that prick, so it'd go "Marissa-->Pete-->Tom-->Fishface McGee. A lil' more extended but networky nonetheless!

I'm debating getting a myspace which just contains an explanation for why it sucks, and a link to my livejournal. Possibly a picture of <frank> eating Rupert Murdoch's pants, or something.
