Really beautiful piece! The words just flow and make your soul sing and heart ache. The characterization is wonderful. The ending is bittersweet. The entire piece is... ouch. Haha, that's an "ouch" in a "my heart bleeds for your fic" kind of way. Keep up the awesome work!

These were originally random drabbles I'd written before, which I then arranged together to form some kind of a storyline, so I'm happy to hear which ones you liked. Thank you.

It's Beautiful! an awesome characterization ! so very sad and so very them !
I liked the atoms idea and I think it fits them very much ! Are you familiar with Phillip Pullman's Amber Spyglass book?

As a matter of fact, I've read The Amber Spyglass just a little while ago. This story, however, actually consists of random drabbles I'd written some time ago and now gathered together and combined to form a longer story, so it's a complete coincidence, but I do notice similarities. His Dark Materials is such a wonderful series, overall.
