[Fanfic] Memories (Prequel of Time Changes)
February 14th Incident [Tegoshi’s Part]:
Yamapi is very popular since junior high school yet he’s too arrogant and bastard [according to our resident Tegoshi-sama], especially to the girls, every the 14th of February, he is the most person who got most chocolates on the campus. Yet he’s a playboy type indeed. Since it happens to be the school festival, everybody was so busy at the festival. Especially the girls of 2-B, where Tegoshi was in, decides to be a café and which girls was one to dress sexily, after that, the customer will choose the girl they like on just voting, and the girls who got their name will have a date for the night’s dance party but, someone was supposed to be one but, she was missing. They were panicking.
“Yajima is absent!” yelled one of Tegoshi’s classmates.
“What should we do now?” asked the girl classmate.
“Tegoshi-kun, you should help us, since you’re finished decorating the room, please.” Without saying anything, he was dragged by the girls to the other side and puts some make-up on his face and made him wear a pink checkered maid costume and also a pink checkered katyusha.
First cross dress.
“Waiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tegoshi-kun is so beautiful~!!!” the girls of the class squeals over him as he was blushing furiously.
And for the next, they were teaching Tegoshi how to walk femininely since he was the fast learner; he can walk perfectly, like a model.
Now, the guys wished that Tegoshi was a girl.
“Tegoshi-kun, today is the dance night, you still have in a girl costume, we can say that you are a lady today, just to help us. I’ll just lend you my gown for tonight.” Tegoshi just do this for the sake of their festival, and win; he just nods hopelessly. And the girls start taking his picture.
As hour later a popular group was around the room, the girls’ starts flailing about Yamashita Tomohisa’s presence at the room, while the others were taking the order, Tegoshi just rolled his eyes and walks toward Yamashita.
“May I take your order?” asked Tegoshi in a feminine voice, he really tried his best.
“1 iced tea and a strawberry shortcake.” Said Jin, he elbowed Yamapi for the order.
“Can I just order you, beautiful lady?” asked Yamapi.
Beautiful… lady!? Tegoshi thought yet annoyed.
“No.” Tegoshi replies, blushing.
“Jin, look, she’s blushing, kawaii~” they teased him.
“I’ll just take your order Yamashita Tomohisa!” his voice was manlier and annoyed.
“Fine,” Yamapi smirked. “A chocolate cake and just a glass of water.” Tegoshi listed down and takes the other left, and he left them together but, he heard Yamapi said that he was his type and definitely vote for him to be his date.
I should prepare for my death.
Soon after their order was done, he served it to them, he’s glad that the other doesn’t notice him. Tegoshi sighed in relieved.
Someone grabbed his ass.
“Hey!” he knew that Yamapi was the one who grabbed his ass.
“Nice ass.” He said. “It’s nice that I want to spank you!” he smirked, Tegoshi didn’t take this anymore, he punched Yamapi directly on his face, the others were stole their attention.
“Pervert!” he yelled as he went to the back and hide himself. He heard him yelled.
“That’s what my type, I’ll vote for you, Yuna-chan.” He said as he left. And the girls were stared at him in horror.
For a date?!
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!” he yells.

The time Tegoshi is being scared of is here. He was about to picked up a name on the person who vote for him, how he wished that it wasn’t Yamashita. He slowly picked up a piece of a rolled-up paper inside the box as he prayed that it wasn’t him until he opens the paper. He slowly opened his eyes as he was shocked at the result.
“Yamashita… Tomohisa.” He said softly as Yamapi grinned wider.
“I won!!! Yes!”
To be honest, Tegoshi didn’t feel that he wasn’t a guy anymore. He more like… a girl. He really didn’t know why, his heart beats faster when he saw him, or he just does remember that the other harassed him. That’s why he’s feeling like this.
“Thank you, Tegoshi-kun, I know how we much thank you for today, you know even you hate Yamashita-kun, and we do like him because he’s handsome, and we hate his guts, I know you can give justice to the girls he toyed with, as a gratitude we let you dance with him, just for tonight, you never do this once again, we would never let you.” Said his classmate as she helps him wearing the gown.
“It’s nothing, really. So, don’t mind it, I did this for the sake of our class. I want us to win, ne? Yet, we should tell that Yuna he danced with were dropped out.” Tegoshi said cheerfully, yet he was nervous to face that sick bastard Yamapi.
Tegoshi faced the mirror reflecting his own body on the mirror wearing a gown and high heels.
“You’re more beautiful than before Tegoshi.” The other girls were begun changing their clothes to elegant gowns, as they began walking to the crowd. He feels that Yamapi’s hot stares following him all the way. He just followed her around.
“Yuna-chan!” he called as his heart beats faster as he slowly stares at the hottie.
“You’re beautiful tonight.” He compliments and Tegoshi smiles and just bowed, they start the music which is a very slow yet a romantic music.
“May I ask your hand for a dance?” he asked the other.
“I… I don’t know how to dance.” He stares at Yamapi, but the other smiles assuredly that its fine. Yamapi offers his hand to him and the other takes it as he leans closer to him and the other wrapped his hand on his waist. As they danced very slowly.
Tegoshi thinks that the time has stopped for the time for both of them. He hoped this wouldn’t stop for the moment. He knows that he hates him that much and didn’t believe to anything he said but, this time, he pretends to be a girl and he finally knew the other persona of him.
Yamashita Tomohisa was a very interesting man to think but, no!
He’s a sick bastard! He is just kind at first, and he didn’t know that this was me.
“Why aren’t you as rough as before?” Yamapi asked.
“Why? Do you want me as that?” Tegoshi stopped from dancing.
“Not really, but I was attracted to see you as that. I remember someone who acts the same as you.” Tegoshi’s eyes widen.
Did he found out?
“Who are you talking about?” he asked out of curiosity.
“Your classmate, Tegoshi Yuya. My foe since childhood.”
“He’s cute you know!” he said, he’s very proud of himself.
“Wow! You like him, don’t you?” he nodded.
“Yes.” Of course, he likes himself the self-centered brat, that’s actually him. Yamapi’s expression changed, he seems hate it, and probably jealous.
After a minute of silence, Yamashita stopped as he cupped Tegoshi’s cheeks.
“Can I… kiss you?” his heart skipped a few beats.
“W-what?!”
“Kiss you.” Tegoshi didn’t know what to say, he didn’t know what to reason out but, he was curious and took advantage of the moment, as his heart was shouting for him [this time, he guess]. He nodded unconsciously.
“Just in private, please.” Yamapi smiled sweetly, how Tegoshi wished that he can smile with him, like that. As he dragged him inside the building and to a vacant room, was he sure about this?
He pinned him on door and slowly kisses him on the lips, his body felt paralyzed. And didn’t know what to do after this, he pulled him away and runs away from him. He’s scared that he might found out that it was him.
Tegoshi Yuya concluded… he let himself down, and fall in love with his enemy.
Yamapi looked for ‘Yuna’ on their class, but all of them were joined forces, they said that ‘Yuna’ dropped out, that day.
Tegoshi noticed that Yamapi seems so affected after they said that ‘Yuna’ was gone. He seems like that part of him.
He just smiled as he remember that, he never expect that he would become beautiful on that day. A day as Yuna was wonderful, he really mean it, and also the day that he realized that he’s attracted to his same sex and it was Yamashita Tomohisa.
He took another picture, a picture of their camp, a memory with him about being lost during camp, and the first time that it ends up the whole night without arguing.
Camping Partners [Yamapi’s Part]:
“Sir! Why should I be paired up with this midget!?” complains Yamapi.
“Since you’re late and he’s the one who hasn’t had a partner!” explained the teacher.
“Dammit!” he cursed himself and leaves with Tegoshi.
“You know where we going, midget.”
“I know, you big idiot.” Tegoshi replied as they continued on walking on the dark place, following the map that Tegoshi’s holding.

“Oi! I thought you know!” yelled Yamapi, Tegoshi didn’t mind to reply because he’s at fault. Both of them were soaked in the rain.
“What are we going to do!?” as the rain gotten heavier, Tegoshi just dragged him to the near abandoned house. As they are going to stay there for a night.
“This is really your fault, I entrusted you to it, yet you’re no good, that’s why I hate to be paired to you!” shouted Yamapi at Tegoshi as he can’t do anything but, accept.
“I know its my fault! If you keep yelling at me is really going nowhere.” And someone growled their stomach.
“It’s you.” Tegoshi laughed at him.
“Its all your fault that’s why I’m hungry.” He frowned, Tegoshi get something on his bag.
“Here, take it.”
“What is this?”
“A sandwich that I made before I leave earlier, just take it.” Yamapi took the sandwich and just eat it.
“T-thanks.” He said. Tegoshi smiled at himself, it’s the first time he hear that magical word to the other’s mouth.

“Tegoshi?” he called him.
“Hm?” he replied which is a bit away from him.
“Do you know anything about Yuna?” Tegoshi stopped for a moment, does he asking about he’s girl side? He nodded.
“What about Yuna-chan?”
“She told me that she likes you but, you used to date her at any chance?” his voice, there were a bit of jealousy. How would he suppose to reply?
“Yeah… I used to date her. She’s fun to be with, and she’s cute.” Yamapi looked so jealous.
“Do you know the reason why she dropped out of the school after that?”
“Yes. That day was her last day of school, she spend her time with the festival and dance. And as I know, she dropped out because of her parents, she moved out.” He explained, as he looked at him, seriously. His looks… so serious.
“Do you know… where she is now?”
“Wait, why are you so interested with her?”
“Because, I like her.”
He said that he liked this other side of her.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I am serious. Ah!!! Not again!” As his head aching, it seems very terrible, he doesn’t know what to do now, he’s already panicking, he just hugged the other and he’s crying, he’s worried about him.
“Stop… please stop…”

Tegoshi watched the other sleeps on his shoulder. That head ache was not just an ordinary headache. Why was he encountering that kind of thing? He wonders why.
Tegoshi takes a look at him and… without thinking and realized, he did kiss him.
He pulled away and just put himself to sleep.
Moments later, Yamapi opened his eyes. He probably knew it now.
That Tegoshi Yuya was Yuna the girl he liked.
For him, he doesn’t matter that the other lied to him.
Its all concluded…
Even its Tegoshi and Yuna is just the same person. I don’t care anymore, so I fall for him.
He smiled as he gives him a quick kiss on the forehead.

He realized that he already having symptoms of his illness, he didn’t even realize it. As his memories flew until he regained his memory. He realized how happy Yamapi was when he’s with him. He played the recorder once again…
Without realizing for many years after he played this… there’s a last linse he didn’t heard from this one… he always thought that goodbye was the last part of it…
Don’t live with regrets, Tegoshi Yuya, lift up and go to the right path to your success.
