The man was annoying, and Radu toyed a lot with the idea of attacking him --not to kill him, even if he'd deserve it-- but to scare him, push him away, make him stop doing what he did.

Because when this man said he could help, Radu almost believed him, and he couldn't afford that. He couldn't afford to take him up on it. Too dangerous.

He threw a fireball at him, and blinked in surprise when it didn't hit. It was easy to forget that Hughes was a trained soldier.

"Radu," He said from behind him, and Radu turned sharply.

"How did you--"

"You've been toying with the idea for the past hour, got it out of your system?"

It was infuriating how he could be so calm. Didn't he know how dangerous it was? How easily Radu could burn him?

"I hate you, Brigadier General."

Hughes patted his back once, laughing.

"Call me Hughes."
