I've been above The Fire. That weird ambiguous living/office space just above. Is the recording space above that?
I just got me an amp a couple months back...it's a Fender Blue DeVille 2x10. $500 or so on craigs(your)list. It is heavy as fuck. I nearly died getting it home. Bought casters the next day. And it's ridiculously loud, but I got a volume patch that plugs into the effects jacks of the amp...that way you can saturate the tubes without going deaf. When I use the more trebley pickup on my Tele, that amp makes me cry.

1. So cool to have a real drummer. It's also even more flattering now to hear about how cool it is to play with me, or that I'm writing cool songs from band mates, drummer included.
2. Yeah, that little living space creeped me out. There were some people that looked like squatters in there when we were lugging drums down the stairs. It reminded me of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The Recording studio is one more flight of steps up. It's pretty small, but a band could probably record affordably in there. I don't think too many people know about it ( ... )
