Bah Humbug!

I was most unimpressed last night to find my door besieged by a bunch of kids in costumes going trick or treating. They have been watching too much cable TV which unloads surplus cultural product into their greedy little minds eager to scam their way into confectionary heaven. I can’t get too uppity because of course I tried out the same thing

We had four or five groups come last night - because I was expecting guests I had to check the door each time. After the first lot I let the dogs in and they accompanied me to the door for the rest. I think a big boisterous labrador and a hyperactive Jack Russell was quite a welcome for them as I politely declined a trick or a treat :).
