Why do like Paladium/Kevin Siembieda?

It was presented to me the other day that Kevin Siembieda is considered by many to be "the prick of the gaming industry." I was very taken aback by this. I like Palladium books, and Kevin Siembieda. Evidently, people don't like him, in part, because he doesn't allow outside vendors, in any way, to publish books using his system. Since when is that

I haven't played Palladium in ages...In fact, I haven't gamed in ages...If Nintendo can get my mother to borrow my ds and wii, then they are doing something creative and right. They make overall good, fun games.
