Watched two more episodes of the new Emma, and I'm still bemused over how much they've just ripped from the 1996 film version. Very strange!

Georgette Heyer would make incredible TV, MUCH better than the usual drivel, and I also love the books of Mary Stewart. Disney did a film of "The Moonspinners" decades ago with Hayley Mills, which was absolutely awful and nothing like the book.
