First of all, it's raining! Finally, a wonderful summer storm, and then this soft rain that just keeps falling. Hooray!

What with all the chatter about the season finale one is kind of on the look-out, but still, I stumbled on a strange place for a Doctor Who reference today. In Anthony Powell's Journals 1987-1989, on Monday, 27 November, he wrote:

I have yet to see the new season of DW myself. As soon as Jim gets the whole thing downloaded, I have to watch it and finish watching Torchwood.
