[////// ... WELL. Someone's looking incredibly cute today?? But he didn't want to upset Alice, so he won't say anything about it.]

Valentines is coming, yes. From how I know it as, it's a time to spend with people you really like. Family, friends... and especially a special someone.

... And, you're unsure what love is, Alice? I don't really have a precise meaning for it, myself. But I know how to feel it. It's... when you experience this warm feeling when you're with someone you care for.

[WELL. Alice can tell from the look on his face that he notices. Who wouldn't notice? People who knew her and how she normally dressed, at least...]

Don't say it.

[Noooo Red stop, she doesn't want to talk about love with you ///// ]

O-Oh!... So then you've... I mean...

That's true. But it doesn't really matter if a girl gives it or a guy gives it. As long as you want to give someone chocolate on Valentine's, then it's the thought that counts. But different chocolates mean different things. Usually, home-made ones mean a lot more than regular bought chocolate.

And I've... what? [There's a faint smile to that, he waited for Alice to continue her statement before he speaks further.]

Different chocolates? How do I tell which chocolates mean what?

Oh! Like how I made you fudge for that other time? That Christmas holiday!? [beam beam beam~]

[More like a failtasticly sad attempt at homemade fudge, Alice! But that's okay. Better than anything Red could cook up |D;]

Have you... do you mean you've felt love before...?

Well, you know... if you just get a random, cheap one from a store, then it's a bit degrading. But if you put a lot of effort into making one yourself, then that's something else, right? And buying an expensive one means another thing, too.

Haha. That's it, like the fudge you made. It's really special since you made it for me. I really liked that fudge, by the way.

[smiles...] Of course, Alice. I've felt a lot of love before. My mother... from my Pokemon, from my friends... even from you.

Oh! but... the stuff here is free, is it not? So how do I tell if I don't have prices to go by?

You mean you actually liked it!? [she blushes slightly at that, wondering how that was even possible] I was worried you wouldn't! I mean, I had never baked anything before that, so I was sure it wouldn't be any good...

[Oh hello! Please hold, the previous message has just caused Alice's face to shade bright red, heart rate to increase, and brain to malfunction.]

ah-....o--....ee-... [We apologize for the interruption but she is going to need a minute before she is once again capable of forming syllables into words. Cue rapid head shaking! Snap out of it Alice!] From m-me!?!

[Thank you for your patience. You may now resume your conversation.]

Expensive chocolates usually look fancier and is kept in better packaging, like a pretty box or chest. The cheap ones are just kept in plastic bags or cardboard boxes.

[And then, he smiled again at her reaction to how he admitted that he liked her fudge. Sure, it tasted a little weird and the texture was strange, but it seriously didn't taste awful. Something about it tasted really nice.] ... Yes, I mean it. I really liked it.

[He couldn't help to laugh a bit at her latter reaction, though. She looks just like Green when she flails like this. Except, maybe Green is a lot meaner to him.]

... Why is it so strange for people to hear that I felt love from them?

Of course, Alice. That's why we're good friends.

[Alice beamed brightly at that and gave him a quick nod. She was glad he had enjoyed it!]

I-It's not that it's strange I just... didn't realize I had...

[She couldn't help but smile to that last statement, averting her eyes down to her lap for a quick moment.

That's right. We are good friends.

She nodded once again before peering back up at him]

And we'll always stay good friends... right?

[His confirmation only caused her to smile and blush more. And it wasn't until then she became aware of just how red and happy she was.]

S-So! cardboard boxed chocolate is bad, right!?

[Attempt to change in subject take one!]
