I wish movies and television shows were all on an ala carte, on demand subscription model. Screw cable TV channels, lemme subscribe to a show.

I don't want to record it, I just want to stream/buffer and watch it. No media, just awesome content beamed magically through the Intertubes to my brain input device of choice.

This is why I love Netflix's Roku instant player, and have a new adoration for hulu.
