famous people = scary

i don't want to meet famous people. i seem to think i do (i guess because i think i should) but when it comes down to it, i don't. i got a meet & greet from hanson in 2007 and didn't go and just last week i didn't go to meet pete yorn. i like to believe they are the perfect people they seem to be... not flawed, "normal people." maybe it doesn't make since to anyone but me. at least it finally makes since to me.
sub-note: i am no longer allowed to make decisions at work. i will not buy tickets to an event until the day of the show. i seem to have lofty, unrealistic hopes/wishes/expectations while at work and i don't want to anymore.
dexter was crazy last night! (good crazy, of course)
we bought our thanksgiving food preparations over the weekend. i'm glad we did, since there was only one cream of mushroom soup can after i got mine... and very few non-cornbread stuffings. andy got a 12lb turkey, the smallest he could find, but it's huge! thus, we also got things for turkey leftovers, turkey jambalaya & turkey quesadillas.
i am thankful this is just a three day work week.
