[And now Storm's walking over to the bottom of the lift, wearing the long scarf that the sphere gave him. He walks over to her, but stops as soon as he sees her face.]

[Yeah, he's weirded out.]

...I know that scarf, but I... I'm not sure I know you.

[Also wierded out. She can also sort of... sense him in her head, but she isn't sure how to say that.]

[He's getting weird feelings in his head also. He can sense her too.]

The scarf? It's familiar to me also. I think I wore it once. Maybe.

[She holds up one hand to say, 'ok, stop a moment'. Hoping down from her tree root onto the path next to him, she tucks her journal into her belt.]

I take it you're Storm? You... feel... familiar somehow, but I would swear I have never seen your face before.

[Storm frowned, putting a hand to his face. How could she know him but didn't know him?]

Did you know a man, a bit shorter than me, with curly brown hair? It did these ringlet things in front. He was a bit shorter than me.

[As he said the word 'ringlet', Storm twirled his fingers near his head, in an approximation of the hair.]

That... seems... [Fred rubs her nose in frustration] I'm sorry, that seems familiar in a very vague way, but I don't know who you're talking about.

[She shakes her head] This is the most confusing thing that's happened to me so far, and I've only been here a day!

[Storm frowned for a moment, wondering whether to tell Fred about his memory or not.]

It's me. I got one of my memories back. It turns out that apparently I looked like someone completely different before I looked like this. The different-me had curly brown hair, just below shoulder length. I was in a hospital.

[He sighed, looking at Fred.] You're right. This is confusing. Hopefully it'll be explained though. I mean...we can't not know forever.

You... looked like someone different? That's... [Fred almost said 'That's silly,' but she stopped when she realized that she wasn't sure it was.] Well, how in the name of... of goodness does that work?

[After a moment of silence, she sighed.] So, we can get our memories back. How long have you been here, Storm?

I don't know. [Storm admitted, frowning. It was something that was bothering him for a while also.]

I've been here for about two months now. I've been getting deja vu a lot, but this is the first memory I've had.

[Fred ran one hand through her hair.] Right. Well. I suppose we can't find out things too quickly, it might damage our delicate little amnesiac brains. [Her tone was bitingly sarcastic; it wasn't directed at Storm, but whoever had trapped them here.]

[She smiled at him. It was only slightly forced.] Two months? In that case you must know Edensphere rather well. Fancy giving me the grand tour?

[Storm grinned at the sarcasm and lightly tapped the side of his head.] Oh, I think that my delicate little amnesiac brain can handle more memories.

[At her question, Storm nods.] I'd say I know it fairly well. It's not my second home or anything, but I'm getting the feel of it. [He smiles.] Where do you want to go first?

[Fred takes a moment to think about her options.] The man who greeted me, Sky, said something about a Wilderness section. I wanted to ask him a question about that, but... well, I asked a strange question, and then forgot to ask about the Wilderness. But he said I should not go there alone, and it sounds interesting. [She raises her eyebrows at Storm.]

Well let's go then! [Storm says, grinning.] The Wilderness is this way. It changes from time to time-honestly, I don't know what it is now.

It does! A while ago it was this place called Hollywood-lovely place. Recently it was a giant gymnasium. [He is very happy about all this.]
