Yeah, I think that while the other characters wear their angst on the outside, Serena's is just buried so deep under all these layers of denial and stereotypes. Makes for an interesting subject :)

Oh my God, this was gorgeous. I laughed (She has great friends who've affectionally dubbed themselves the 'Non-Judging Breakfast Club' after Chuck taped Nate's butt-cheeks together) lol) and I ached for her.

I didn't used to be a great fan of Serena; in fact I disliked her at first. But this is one of those fics that are gradually making me understand why she's the way she is, why she's an attention-seeker despite herself. Very tragic.

Yeah! I totally get what you mean. I really, really hated Serena when I started watching Gossip Girl, but after joining Postgossipism I kinda warmed up to Serena and I guess this is me warming up all the way.

And yes, my brain is totally cracky and I can totally see Chuck taping Nate's butt-cheeks together.

I know! I was writing it and I just saw all these parallels between Pete and Chuck. I actually really wanted to write something about that for that screencap of Serena and Chuck in that orange coat.

That convo about Eric was really hard to write because I didn't want it to sound evil and make them unsympathetic but I also wanted it to be cold and real to what these two people would say.
