Thanks! :) To be honest, most of the time spent on this fic was used trying to come up with a title that didn't suck.

I think one the best things about early S1/pre-series is that we can sort of assume anything about the characters and there's nothing there prove us wrong, so Carter's mind is sort of like a minimally explored wonderland of crazy, gross awesomeness.

I love the way you mix Carter's physical circumstances with what is going on in his head. It's a great mix of desperation, want, and fear, all wrapped up with Carter's searing scorn.
