What's Sam like as the pilot?
He was the younger brother in production I saw & wasn't convinced he could pull off the pilot anyway...

He was very awesome. convincing and very funny during the tailor's dummy and cafe de paris bits.

Agreed. The tailor's dummy scene was _smooth_.

And, as I've said, I will freely admit to sniffling a bit in the pas de deux; it was the heartwrenching combination of brilliant dance and the sheer vulnerability of dancing in 1940s-style bedclothes.
