Sorry, I thought Darcy was the biggest waste of space - that chair could have been filled so much better by someone with a showdancing or ballroom dancing background!

She was a pretty good sport about the April Fool's joke a bunch of people-who-shall-remain-nameless-cough-but-including-a-certain-journalist cooked up back in 2001 for her website (the webmaster may have been among the conspirators!) - you can still find the occasional reference to it.

(It gives you a lovely warm evil feeling to be able to debunk the story categorically to your colleages by going 'I know it's false because I was there when it was cooked up; I don't care what the Sun and the Standard say!')

I really can't stand Ali. She may well have technique but I can't warm to watching any of her dances as she's too clinical and tedious.

I missed the past couple of weeks of Strictly so its nice to read your review about it. No clue who I would like to win. I just enjoy seeing the dances and the sparkly outfits (yes one of the few times I'm a total girl! lol!).
