Remember how I manage to survive without getting so much as a cold while everyone else was getting flu?

I have not stopped sniffling all morning. Dammit. With occasional need to blow nose.

:wails: I have illegal recording of Douglas Hodge and Denis Lawson to do tonight! The mic picks up *my* sound first! (sadly, laughing like a drain is

Get well soon, hopefully it's just an allergic reaction to dust or something and it will get better in the afternoon.

What equipment do you use for your illegal recordings? I have a small Sony minidisc recorder with a fairly good small microphone that I use for gigs, festivals and sessions ... but am considering getting one of the MP3 type recorders (like a Zoom H4) at some point (though possibly something like the Boss Micro BR would be more useful to me for recording my own stuff!)

oracom db-890 (don't know if you can still get it, though) with a cheapo mini mic stuck into it.

sadly, it feels like a mild headcold. (no allergies, but I do react to air conditioning - that's normally the cough that sounds like I'm having an asthma attack or attempting to throw my lungs up) sniffles and sneezes.

The Oracom A10 and W30 both look like fantastic devices, and the UB-870 (which seems to be the closest to the db-890) is available on Amazon for under £50!

Get well soon!
