Oh heartbreaking! For Sherlock actually...he so trusts John and would be hurt to realize that John isn't reciprocating in the same way. Also not having the skills to get through to John when he wants to. John, John...when will you get a clue and see it...Oh Harry! Very nicely done! I am enjoying this fic. I feel bad for them both. Sherlock who loves and wants to protect John, and is also hurt that John won't trust him. John, who has learned from a very early age not to tell, not to trust anyone with this secret. John really needs Sherlock, who could help him, but obviously it will take something awful to get him to the point. Yay, for Clara appearing, I really like her.

I thought John was going to finally let the brilliant detective help him! Poor Sherlock, thinking John doesnt trust him enough, and poor John, for forever having to handle this on his own, and suffering the same evil from two different close family members. I still wonder though, where the hell is their mother!? Taking a guess i'd say she probably died at a very young age...and i guess John never had any trouble with alcohol...
Anyway, sorry the rambling, i really liked the chapter, and hope you post some more soon! CheerS!

Come on, John, let Sherlock in. That nightmare was distressing, because I can guess what it was about. It certainly unsettled Sherlock, which is no easy thing. I get why he's doing it, but when will John realise how much he's hurting them both by shutting Sherlock out?
