So, here's a nugget (and I've seen this on other forums for the show, so this is definitely not an original thought):

I definitely think that Fi is involved. And, if she isn't, she's been made into a great Red Herring.

I also think, if she is involved, Michael's relationship with his mother is very important. She's done her darndest to get him closer to her. She calls her in the first ep to tell her where Michael is. She makes dinner plans in the second episode (acting very girlfriendish). She has Michael ask for the car, and she has to know that his mother will want something in return.

I'm very curious to see Michael's brother's and Fi's involvement in all this.

Also, are those FBI agents really FBI or are they disguised to be FBI? It's been shown that Michael has keen observational skills, but it can't be that hard to fake being an FBI tail if you're part of some elite spy group.
