so now that im 'settled in' [in other words, im not at all, but im learning more and more shit about how things work here] i realized that mail to this FOB, where i live, will not be picked up for me. we dont have anyone in charge of the mail here. so, you have to send mail to another base where my unit handles the mail. then i just wait for any ( Read more... )

im sorry i couldnt call you, but i tried. now my phone doesnt work here in iraq, so im shit out of luck. also the post office wont let you mail sand. really. its all mud right now anyways, so youre not missing much. take care of yourself.
