I thought you captured the period very well. My husband and I talked about going to Canada during that period but luckily his number didn't come up. It was a very scary time.

This fic leaves an almost sinister and definitely unforgettable echo from how you ended it, using Country Joe McDonald's lyrics. When we read them, we just know Arthur won't be coming back from Saigon. Brilliantly done.
