Nursing Home Adventures - It Begins!

Well, as many of you know, I help run my church's nursing home ministry, which we started in late February.  Because it was received so well by the residents at Heritage Nursing Home, we decided to start doing services there every week in the Fall.  Basically, we don't see this as starting a "ministry," but as a new church plant.  So, this Saturday

Just came across your site while searching for nursing home ministries. I have been doing this for a little over 30 years, and your story of Lillian touched my heart as I have met many 'lillians' over this time.

One Scripture that I continually think of when ministering is 2 Corinthians 2:9-10. Though we may seemingly not be able to communicate the gospel, God does.
