I always wondered why people superbus  always complained that Gamestop was shafting gamers with its used game pricing...now that I've been in New Zealand for a while and exposed to gamestop's used game policy through it's subsidiary EB games and my verdict is this:

Depends which side of the spectrum you're on. If you're like me, and refuse to sell games you've bought (I simply collect them, in case I want to play them later, and to lend to friends I know won't destroy them), then buying used games from gamestop is absolutely great! You can get a lot of deals that way. I tend to search online first, for better deals though.

However, you're a moron if you trade anything in to gamestop. You'd do better selling it on amazon or ebay.

There is a great local chain here in New Zealand that ALWAYS undercuts EB games by 15% on price.

They don't sell used games though :(
