As most of you know, I work over at Diehard GameFAN with superbus and hinata19  and every year we have a "staff commentary" where all of us post our top 10 games for that year and explain why they're awesome. Here is my top 10:

Pro Evolution Soccer is your standard sports game.

Football Manager is a managament game.You are a coach. You have no control whatsoever of your players during the match (other than of course issuing instructions) and you have to contend with pressures from the boardroom, the fans and unhappy players as well as the press.

You can easily download one of those.

They have some DLC that mimics areas like Mesopotamia and such I think.
