Although I am glad to be back, I do miss Okinawa. Maybe we should make another trip there? And maybe Yagyuu-sama can come, too? :)

That said, what kind of desserts can you make out of black sugar? I've been looking through candy recipes and chocolate mixes. So that means I can probably try a cake, right?

okinawa, konjiki-sama, food, rin, monsieur yagyuu

You're going to bake a cake, Taka-kun? Could you show me how?

Sure, Oishi. I was thinking Kabaji-san would make a far better teacher but I'd be more than honored to. Would you like me to come by? And is there any particular one you'd like to learn how to make?

I'll have to check with Yagyuu-sama, but maybe I can during the week. And alright, don't worry, it's not that hard. I'm sure you'll do fine.

Cooked with ginger root into a clear soup, it makes for an excellent remedy for coughs or to ward off colds in wintry weather.

It can also be used as an ingredient in a delicious steamed cake.

:) I'll have to keep those in mind, Yanagi-san. Thank you! Steamed cake sounds perfect for this weather.

Perhaps over the summer. I've made plans to go back to the Riviera for Spring break.

Shall I accompany you, Yagyuu-sama? Since I wasn't able to before...

It is up to you, Kawamura-kun. If you find that you have other plans come break, then it is unnecessary.

I would be honored to accompany you during break, Yagyuu-sama. No questions asked.

I'd love to go to Okinawa with you again, Taka. Thanks for taking me once.

What are you making deserts for? Sounds good.

It wouldn't have gone as well without Koharu-sama's help.

I was thinking Yagyuu-sama would like to try something different after dinner or something. You're welcome to have some, too.

Well, still. Thanks.

Sounds good. If there's leftovers, or anything.

You know you're always welcome. :)

I brought back enough to make some of your own. Is there any dessert you'd like in particular?
