A/N: This is the first result of the drabble meme. First prompt was Dean Winchester/Derek Morgan (Criminal Minds) - 'Who is now in charge?' for dischargie. I swear, this was the best I could come up with, I usually don't do Winchesters *G*
A/N2: I'm gonna post all drabbles separately. Makes it easier for me to link them in the master list. Plus it gives me a bit more time to write as I kinda agreed to do more then five after all...
Who's In Charge Now?
Dean shook the dust off his rumbled clothes, dizziness clouding his vision, clearing very slowly to reveal the tiny interrogation room.
Dust and rubble everywhere. The chairs and the table crumbled like paper.
Dean contemplated running. Out the door, not looking back, after hours and hours of the same questions, waiting for a chance to escape. This was it. And still, Dean didn't leave, couldn't. He wasn't alone in the room, but the Agent was no where to be seen.
Sifting through the large pile of debris in the corner, he found a hand sticking out. Being mindful of the unstable structure of what was left of the building, Dean pulled him out, got him free and out of the building.
The men collapsed on the soggy grass out front of the wrecked Police Station, Agent Morgan's hand still twisted tightly in Dean's ruined jacket.
Dean couldn't help but smirk. "Who's in charge now, Mr. FBI?" And with a wink, he was up and runinng.
