If you'd like to know what Kara thinks of your muse, please post a comment. Just remember, it's Kara. :) But her mun will tell you what Kara thinks, even if Kara would never actually admit it!
Kara thinks John is a lot like her, but she sees him almost as a kid--that's mostly due to her growing disassociation with her own life and her feelings of being aged beyond her years. :) John reminds her of herself when she was first in the military, but she also thinks he's a little more grounded than she was at that point in her life.
She thinks he's cute, too. He's her usual physical type; arrogant, dark-haired, dark-eyed. She thinks it's interesting he has two boyfriends.
(Aside: AU!Kara is envious that all John's boyfriends get along, and wants at some point to talk to him, but she's bad at sharing personal information. ::grins::)
Kara thinks John would be fun to play cards with; but she's suspicious he doesn't drink. :D
One of John's problems with women is that he doesn't really get them, and doesn't think that they should be treated 'kinder' or whatever in some ways. Really, he'll just treat them as one of the guys, and that gets him in trouble sometimes. BUT this works with Kara, and that's totally helpful for him. John likes that she's forward and tough. It makes it easier for him to both relate to her and interact with her.
John thinks that she flies vipers is really cool, and even though he wasn't technically in the military, he doesn't mind those sort of questions and talking to her about that.
He'd like to get to know her better, for sure. He likes what he knows of her.
(Aside: John would say that all of them being friends first was TOTALLY helpful and he has no idea how to handle her situation. But he'd happily talk about it anytime!)
John says...
You're pretty all right yourself, Kara. You should take me flying sometime.
Kara and John will definitely get along. She will totally take him flying!
(She wants Leoben and Sam to be friends--and possibly make out--but it's all so tenuous she's not exactly sure how to deal with any of it. She may have to get drunk to ask John about it, hee.)
Kara has all sorts of problems with authority figures, especially female ones. She is inherently mistrustful and vague with them, expecting they will, like her mother, abuse her in some fashion. She felt this way initially about Laura, but eventually she relaxed her guard somewhat. Kara has a lot of respect for Laura as the President, for the quiet way she exerts her control without hurting or causing others pain.
Kara also very much respects Laura's spiritual and religious beliefs, and thinks she's a strong and capable leader, one she is proud to serve. Kara also seeks Laura's approval and ever, in a way, affection; though she will probably never admit it :)
Kara is confused about Boomer, because she really likes Sharon, and it helps her to think that Athena and Boomer are completely different people, even though she sometimes forgets they are. I think Kara likes to think that Boomer doesn't exist and that it just never happened; that's typical Kara for dealing with things that make her uncomfortable.
Kara respects Athena. She doesn't trust her blindly (evidenced on the way to the Basestar in Faith, but Kara doesn't really trust anyone blindly. She WANTS to trust Athena, though. Half the time, Kara forgets Athena is a Cylon, and when she remembers, she wonders if she's supposed to make a deal about it being okay or not. She would, however, happily lay anyone out for being mean to Athena for being a Cylon. Also, Kara now knows what it's like to be viewed with suspicion by both her fellow soldiers and her crew, and I think she understands Athena more. The relationship is definitely one Kara wants, she's just bad at relationships and is always worried she's doing the wrong

Remembering they only had sex once makes Kara!Mun happy--I keep forgetting that. They just made out a lot, right? I have to rewatch all of those episodes. I was usually hiding my eyes when it was on the first time I watched it, LOL.
Kara!Mun says (well, first, YAY, I love Helo, and also, I've been waiting to use this ICON)....
Kara has a lot of respect for Helo, and more than that--she listens to him, which is something she doesn't do with a lot of people. ::grins:: She has always found him a very calming, centered, grounded presence--the very opposite of herself, in a lot of ways. She and Helo (in my head) had a brief fling a long time ago, but it was never anything more than sex. They don't have that tension between them that Kara seems to require for the men she falls in love with, but she thinks of him as a good friend, a compatriot, a good soldier. She likes that he's devoted to Athena, though she's hopeful that he won't end up hurt.
Yeah, you have to wonder if they did what she and Lee should have done right off the bat, and got that out of their system. They are definitely awesome friends, and there's huge amount of respect there. I definitely think Kara listens to Helo because there's no sexual tension, and that since he knows she listens to him, Helo feels kind of responsible for her, like a big brother. Of course, he's frakking everyone's big brother, so that's not a surprise. I'm sure if he'd been more exposed the better parts of Kara & Sam, he'd be totally for that.
I think they probably did, because Kara didn't have confused family!feelings for Helo. She's going to probably want to convince him that things with her and Sam are fine (well, as fine as anyone can possibly be in a relationship with Kara), so perhaps they can chat about that sometime soon :)
Kara's feelings towards Lee are exceedingly complicated. She's always loved his family, found him attractive, and really likes their buddy-pilot dynamic. Kara probably should have just frakked him early on, and it would have been a quick fling that settled, like with Helo, into easy friendship. But because Kara doesn't understand family or love, she didn't understand that her attraction to him and her love for him were not the same thing, because family and familial love has always brought pain to Kara, so when it brings happiness, she doesn't know what that means. Hence her always trying to draw him in and keep him away; Kara doesn't understand that he could love her like a sister and that could be enough for the both of them. She wants to be part of his family, like she almost was when she was engaged to Zak. The military, and the Adamas, are the closest thing to a normal family Kara's ever had, and she's unable to separate the complexity of this from her, ah, very high

Lee (like pretty much the great majority of the characters I like/come to write) has an almost overwhelming desire for the difference between right and wrong to be clear and simple. Ever since getting to be friends with Kara on Galactica and, in my thinking, before with Zak, Kara was the kind of morally-flexible-yet-intrinsically-noble kind of individual people like Lee have a tendency to like being around for some reason (um... Scott and Logan much?). The fact that she did exactly what she thought and intended at any given moment instead of vacillating and overthinking made her a natural balance to his personality. That's what I think makes them such perfect friends and wingmen
( ... )
I think that they'd be perfect fuck buddies if Kara was less broken about love, and if Lee was less the right-and-wrong type. ::grins:: (And, you know, if they weren't both married. Though Kara, IMHO, really isn't so much into monogamy, and I think Sam gets that about her.)
