Neal shows up a little while later, a bottle of wine in one hand and a smile on his face. "Hello everyone," he says, letting himself through the back door. He sets the bottle down and moves to give Elizabeth a quick kiss on the cheek, before holding the bottle out to her.

She looks at it a moment and smiles. "Very nice," she says approvingly, waving it at Peter. "Neal brought drinks!".

"Something to loosen the tongue," he says, laughing and moving to sit down in the living room.

"Good idea."

Peter greets him with a smile, lifting his beer to him as Neal sits. If he's close enough, he'll reach out to take hold of his hand for a moment as well.

"I am full of them," he says, as he takes Peter's hand, squeezing it before bending down to say hello to Satchmo.

El is in the kitchen, grabbing the glasses and bringing them and the wine to the living room table. "Just thought I'd get this set up," she explains, setting the glasses in front of the other two and putting the wine in the middle.

Neal laughs, "Should I have brought more than one little?"

Elizabeth looks at him, her face showing mock affection. "Neal, do you not have faith in our liquor cabinet?"

He smiles, good point."

Peter grins, watching the exchange, settled back and comfortable. Starting out without the tension of last time, with things feeling almost normal -- it doesn't take away his nerves completely, but it does help them.

"Should we save it for lunch?" Though, considering they've got the glasses out it doesn't seem to be the plan. Still doesn't hurt to ask, and it's easier than diving straight into what they're there for.
