dd's friend T came from boston. we went to the beach today. we thought about going to the independence day parade. local desi lgbt and dv org are doing their yearly protest. but we went to the beach. waves clinked like jhumkas. there was a big harvest of beautiful purple shells washed up by the tide. i collected some with a young stranger.
