The Industrial Revolution created lots and lots of jobs for regular citizens. Of course, the jobs were pretty damn bad, frequently dangerous, and didn't pay shit. It also made lots and lots of money for people... who already had money. Free market!
To be fair, the 1% are creating jobs. They just aren't creating them here. Apple, for example, isn't creating manufacturing jobs for unemployed Americans.
Why did you say something? Because some third parties are also reading your friend's Facebook, and now they will be able to see the facts you posted. They won't just have the condescending person's post in a vacuum.
