The Lunar Eclipse last night was lovely, with the shadow of the Earth washing over the Full Moon left to right steadily while I watched it in the high southern sky.
We were sitting out in the hot tub very late at night, admiring the full moon, and wondering what that extra shadow was creeping across it (it was too late for the word eclipse to register, I think, and we hadn't heard about it ahead of time). We weren't around to see the whole thing but caught the very start of it, apparently.
