Alanna hiccuped. "Mean people. All leaving. And you still have most of my library." Faithful leaped from Alanna's shoulder to Angel's.

Alanna's brain quickly came up with three spells that would keep Angel, and any other senior, from actually leaving their rooms. Then she dropped that idea and nodded. "How soon, how soon are you leaving?" Faithful purred and poked at Angel's ear with his nose.

"Probably Friday," Angel said, still petting Faithful. "I've got some stuff I want to take care of first. Say goodbye to everybody. That kind of thing."

"Good. Why not stick around for the summer." Faithful had now decided that using his tail to hit Angel on the head was a good idea.

"Not much for outdoor daytime sports or tanning," Angel said, swatting at Faithful's tail. "Besides, kinda been putting this destiny off for long enough."
