When the utility scammers come to my door "needing" to see my Enbridge bill on whatever pretext. Or when some asshole phones me about my credit card or my debt or, god help me, because there's a "virus" on my computer that he needs to help me "remove".
Merely yelling at them to get off my property isn't good enough. Nor yelling about the federal

I got one of the "virus on your computer" people about a week and a half ago.
I laughed at them an invited them to continue their spiel even though "they were full of shit".
They asked me what I meant.
I explained that I knew full well that this was a scam and that he wasn't actually calling from Microsoft, hence as I was saying, he was full of shit.
At this point the guy told me that my family was full of shit (although there were a couple of "what did you says" before I could parse what he said, as the phone connection sounded like it was from overseas, and his voice was heavily accented).
At which point, I laughed again and said "See? This is what I mean. If you were really calling from a legitimate support centre, you would not tell me that my family was full of shit, or otherwise be rude like that. That's how easy it is to tell you are a scammer".
At which point, sadly, he hung up.
