i'm planning on doing a little bday thing next saturday, the 22nd (actual bday is the 25th but that falls on a tuesday...oh well). i'm not really sure what it's going to be yet though. i need help deciding. either dinner and a bar, or dinner and a karoake room. the bar thing might be a little easier. but which bar?? does anyone have any ( Read more... )

OMG that is sooo bizarre...

best part: the chorus totally sounds like conan singing in his nerd voice.

second best part: the radio guy saying "babe" every other word.

i think the radio guy was also the guitarist for the carpenters. perhaps you should start saying "babe" more often now. maybe even use it in your songs? bring it up at your next practice...

griffin is cool. i had drinks there on my ACTUAL birthday. which i think you should do... have a ride from Tren Way (short!) and drinks on the 25th there. THEN on the 22nd have something more planned and extravagant like a strip club and strawberries.

do they play good music at the griffin? maybe i can go there twice...once on saturday and then on tuesday. would that be overkill?

well just the griffin twice may be boring... i say one of the days make it a pub crawl since griffin, roost and big foot lodge, not to mention tam o shanter all within two blocks!!!!! :)

i heard about this place in Echo Park..called The Shortstop. Rumor has it they play REALLY awesome music and don't have any obnoxious people dancing there.

haha you LOVE the shortstop! i think it's because you really enjoyed it when that sweaty bald guy kept rubbing up against you. also, having to wait in line to get in was probably the highlight of your night too, right?

there's actually two versions of the video. here's the other one...it starts out the same way as the other one, so you can probably skip the dj part:

i can't decide which one i like better! also, i'm not really sure why they did two different videos.

la cita, you mean nathan's FAVORITE place? heheh. i actually got a "please NO LA CITA" request from jennifer. i think it's safe to say that that is not one of my options.

i think "dimensional pubes are hard to draw" should be the next pube tube song. it's a lie though, i have no problems drawing them...probably because i practice 24-7.
