That too, though less about "crappy" than the stories just not being anything I'd be interested in following. Lately it's just been Dragon Ball Super (just to have something easy to watch with my husband with characters I know well) and for me occasionally My Hero Acadamia, another easy watch, which I only picked up at the behest of our roommate. Mostly it's been like I said, just waiting around for the series I actually care about to get going.
