I haven't finished it either... but I'm kind of watching it hoping to see what others see in it. There is something underlying that's interesting about the world and the characters. It keeps hinting and promising a little... But not sure if the anime will be the foundation to explore the world structure that would satisfy me.
I struggled to stay awake through the fourth episode and decided the setting and the characters just weren't for me. I need an anime to grab on to me right away or within the first few episodes or I'm done with it. I think the only time I drop an anime faster than that is if the protagonist is one of those screamer types who wails and cries all the time.
By the way, it's nice to hear from you. I'd wondered if you were ever going to visit lj again. :)
