It just doesn't seem like it's possible. Some people are actual forces of nature and she was one of them.

She and I were never really super close and less so in the past few years, but good lord this hurts my heart. I am so not okay with this. I can only imagine how bad this is for those of y'all who were still close to her.

She was a force of nature! I said the same thing. There was nobody quite like her and there is never gonna be. There's a hole in the fucking world. I can't believe it either.

I had a conversation once with someone about her, where they asked why she and I were still mutuals after all this time and fannish drift and wanks gone by, and it was just like, why the hell wouldn't she and I still be friends? She was crazy as fuck, but she was my kind of crazy - the kind that's too passionate for her own good, but who sticks to her guns and damn the fallout. I wanted nothing but good things for her and was so so so delighted that she'd found a good guy and seemed happy lately.

This year has sucked so badly. I'm really ready for people I care about to stop dying.
