I searched for hours.

Some might say I’m tenacious to a fault.

Ever since I was born, I had known structure. I had always had people telling me what to do. Ordering me around. My parents. Then, teachers. Then, those up above me in the army.

Last of all was the professor.

If I left, it meant I had no rules. I had no guidelines.

I didn’t like the freedom.

Great job explaining the loyalty an otherwise intelligent and quite capable man shows to a monster that kills all his loose ends. I bet he either had no father at all, or a right basterd who never showed him any love.

and its a pretty fierce loyalty too i mean even in canon hes chucking shit at holmes right after moriarty goes over. and he waits for him to kill him. sure it would prolly be partly cos he didnt want to go to gaol but...

and yeah prolly idk victorian london was pretty harsh sometimes yar.

Well, that was...unexpected. (Followed from the kinkmeme). I like the look into Moran's head. And yeah, Moran really is Moriarty's dog, but there must be reasons for why he became so.

well i hope its a good unexpected i did try to do as the op wanted without being so shmoopy...yar...i suppose moran must just love the structure? taking orders? itd be like the military all over again but then it brings up the question of oh but he was dishonourably discharged so i mean its a bit complex i guess?

also love your icon hahaha they rly are an ot3 yar :3

I'm not familiar with book-canon at all. So I speculate that movie-Moran might have gotten discharged for going too far - killing civilians or something, and the army discharged him for being too eager to kill. And he joined up with Moriarty because the professor lets him indulge in his hunting of humans. That starts the twisted seed of loyalty.

Yeah, I love Singin' in the Rain. They're so totally a threesome. :D

yeah i dont think they actually said? altho they might have mentioned it in passing and ive forgotten. that seems logical. him sniping off civilian/anyones for fun or something like that. plus moriarty pays for his hotel rooms and then also pays him for doing missions and stuff yar!

hahaha yes and a perfect one too yar :3
