good sleeper

My baby slept through 95% of a Purim party, including the shortened megillah and a Reinterpretation of the Esther Story as set in the Wild West by a party of Hebrew school children.

We also nearly gave another 10 year old's mother a heart attack by letting her child hold Beekman and carry him across the room.

I'd love to see pictures of your little darling. Don't suppose you're going to try to brave Pennsic with a little one???

I have to interject here... My son was born last February (2008) and I brought him to Pennsic. It's actually the perfect time to go, since at 5 months they are strong enough to sit up (mostly), but don't go anywhere when you put them down. Bring lots of food, blankets and patience, and it's pretty easy.

Now this year, when I'll be bringing a one and a half year old - who is already into everything - that I'm worried about. :)

EEEP! I would have a heart attack too! Maybe sitting with the baby...but perhaps I have a particularly spatially unaware child.

All depends on the reliability of the 10 year old.

And yes, sound sleepers are a godsend. Luckily, both of mine are sound sleepers.

ha! I think kids have better care taking abilities then we adults. Their instincts aren't so easily over ruled by conflicting advice we adults are subjected to.
