the toronto after dark film festival has crept up on me because it's in august this year, rather than in october as it has been in past years. i forgot about it when i booked my flight to halifax, so i'll be missing most of it, alas.

District 9! I wanted to see it tomorrow night. I was making plans in my head to try and see it at the Sheppard Grande after sweetkaiser gets off of work at 9:00pm, but I haven't really solidified anything yet, it was just a thought. Let me know if you plan anything, and I shall try to be there if it doesn't conflict with my own plans. :D

Except that it's not playing at the Grande, so that's obviously a problem for me. Lol.

it's playing at empress walk-- i've never been there but it's close to sheppard? north york centre station.

Franklyn is really good.

At first I was all: O_o what's going on, that's all just too weird.... But as it went on a little bit I was very happy with it and the story was great. Quite original in my opinion and fresh.

I totally forgot about After Dark this year, so I probably won't get a chance to see anything. District 9 I'm really excited to see, will probably go on Saturday.
