toronto after dark!!

i am really psyched about TORONTO AFTER DARK this year (starts next week! oct 19-25). i don't know how many of you remember me writing about last year's festival (which was the first). it's a film festival of science-fiction, fantasy and horror (although this year it appears to be just fantasy and horror) from around the world-- not old cult

heh, i don't have any recommendations yet... i still have to read up on all the films.

i'll definitely see anything with flying swordsmen/-women in it though. and i'm tempted to see the uwe bolle movie, which is almost guaranteed to be absolutely terrible (and yes, based on a video game)...

it's always hard to tell at this point. i'm still psyched. the whole vibe of the festival is a lot of fun, as you would expect. the bloor is the perfect venue for this kind of thing.

I am pretty psyched to see Nightmare Det. I really recommend his other films, Vital is one of my favourites.

I'm really looking forward to the festival this year, I'll be a festival blogger as well!

For me I am quite looking forward to The Rebel (martial arts action - rock on!), Alone and Nightmare Detective.

Did you hear that Uwe Boll will be at the screening of his film? It's worth it to go just for that!
