have you guys tried talking to her?
and telling her, her teaching methods suck ass?
usually that helps
and if it doesnt talk to your admin
or get a transfer or drop out and then rejoin next semester and make sure you dont get her as a teacher

I had a professor like that once, who demanded straight memorization (and correct spelling) of a buttload of ridiculous crap. And if you think I'm bad at counting, my memorization and spelling is way worse. ;-)

The only thing that got me through that class was going back to rudimentry flashcards -- make a flash card for what each one does, name on the front and description on the back. Go through them at every opputunity, frontwards and backwards. It may not get you 95s, but it will definitely help you pass.

Good luck!!! (Oh, and I second Bryan's vote about telling an admin or a dean or something -- there are way too many people out there looking for teaching jobs for her to keep hers and be doing it so poorly.)
