Ooh, I like this. It works really well as a drabble - ends perfectly - and I like seeing daily ninja life stuff. I also like the way you incorporated Sakura's pig nickname (her anger was very IC) and Ino's forwardness at the end. I can definitely see her saying something like that! Great job with the prompt and pairing. ♥

Aw, thanks for such a lovely comment! Slice-of-life fic is something I enjoy but don't have much confidence in writing, so I'm glad this makes the cut. I'm afraid I overuse the "pig" and "forehead" nicknames (in the five InoSaku drabbles I've written, I think I avoid both in only two, and I know they've popped up elsewhere in my fics) but I really like how it plays into the scene here. And I'm tickled to hear that the characterization rings true for you; I always worry. Thanks again, I'm glad you enjoyed the piece :)

You're completely welcome! It's my pleasure to read and review your work. :) And really? The lack of confidence doesn't come across. Possibly - I won't dispute that nicknames tend to be overused in fanfiction, or else simply made up and adapted by large numbers of people - though yes, it certainly does play into the scene very well, as I tried to say but couldn't phrase nearly as well. =)

Heh, well, I like to think I'm pretty good at filtering my misgivings out of the work itself-- not that there's really room for it in a drabble anyway. I'm admittedly less concerned about the names popping up a lot (it isn't as though it's all taking place in the same continuity) and more worried that I use them as a crutch of sorts; I don't want to slap the names into dialogue and declare it in-character.
