No, thank you. I do like and admire Kate Bishop the character immensely, but I find that it's a struggle to write her. She's closed, completely vexing, and even if she hadn't lost her mum or experienced trauma at turns, she still wouldn't be open. Kate's the type of girl who saves herself, and is unapologetic, and it's fantastic to read a story by someone who understands her so well and is able to write it.

LOL, I just can't stop admiring at how good this is.

Kate is one of my absolute favorites, but she is just so damn hard to get into. She's closed, yes, that's exactly it! I felt like I was scraping away at her, and I'm still not entirely sure I actually made it in.

But omg, really, thank you. Kate's POV is something I don't feel particularly secure it, and hearing that it comes across as her is just tremendously reassuring and it really means a lot.

I like this story a lot. It really shows all the bits and pieces that went into making Kate Hawkeye and into making her such a passionate young woman.

THIS IS KATE BISHOP. Your fic really defined her in so many ways, including her therapy which I'm sure wasn't just for the rape but for other things as well....
