Wheezing. I am sitting here, on my living room sofa, wheezing with laughter, tears streaming down my face, and the dog is giving me a very worried look. Oh my sweet monkey trumpets, I haven't giggled like that in so long, I don't remember when the last time was. This was perfect. Harry was totally Harry, Ron was utterly Ron, Luna was the epitome of Luna-ness, and Teddy was... I have no words for Teddy. There is a critical shortage of baby!Teddy fic in the fandom, but this is a worthy remedy. Seriously, I love the way you took my prompt and made it into something so fabulous. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

As for titles, all I can say is that it MUST include the phrase "monkey trumpets" somehow.

Huzzah! *happy Snoopy dance* I had so much fun writing this, I literally couldn't stop, and then it was suddenly 2k+ wtf? And Baby!Teddy was easy, he was just totally placid and okay with everything, because all he was aware of was being swooped around a lot. Wheeeeeeee.

I will title it Oh, Monkey Trumpets, for you, though sadly I cannot claim credit for the phrase. It's from Futurama, but I love it so much it has filtered into my common usage, and apparently thus filtered into my fic now. Because it is such a great phrase.

*wipes off tears of laughter* Thank you! I got here by way of girlyswot's journal, and I'm so happy she rec'd this fic. Absolutely fantastic. And I don't think you can cure baby hiccups. I don't remember trying at all, just comforting if the kid in mention was distressed, but Teddy seems to have no problem with it. Actually, I think he finds it amusing. And Luna is a gem. As is clueless Harry and Ron - and their reasons for not calling any of the first four ladies that came to mind. This was really brilliant. Thanks a bunch!

Oh, it worked all right. Some babies are like that. Hope you get one like it if you ever go there. :-) And hiccups might be annoying, but they do no harm. Actually they're good, because they serve to strengthen the diaphragm, so helps the baby breathe easier in the long run. They actually have hiccups while still in the womb... That's probably way more than you felt the need to know, but now you do. *grin*

Don't I know it! My son would hiccup for *hours* in utero, sometimes all night (of course, he always seemed to get them whenever I was trying to rest).
