YAY!!!! Australian Ballet! So romantic! Hard work doing hand-sewing on their costumes.... but YAY! I can't wait for your pics... I hope you have a macro lens to capture sequins and such... *hugs*

No pics, sorry! I had to sign a NDA and everything, and the 'look' for each show is apparently all very hush-hush until they decide to publicize. Although I've only worked two days there so far, and there was a media person taking pics the first day and a bunch of somebodies being shown through on tour the second, so I don't know how secret it really is.

The media person took close ups of my hands while I was sewing. That's the second time that's happened to me at a new job, I must have photogenic hands or something!

I hope it's a foot in the door! I know one of the other girls working there - she says last season she sewed on a lot of hooks and bars, too, and this is her second, so at the very least there's a chance to come back for the next production.

Oh, and Jai came home and we got the hot water heater working! It took more hands than I have access to when I'm the only one home..

The hot water is all good, as I saw you saw above. Stupid ignition button. All it has to do is ignite a thing, you wouldn't think that would be too much to ask.
